Come into our Fabrics, Haby, Wool and Bead outlet located at 11 - 13 Como Pde (West), Mentone and you will be delighted at our huge range of quilting, dance and dress fabrics and our haberdashery area stocks over 5,000 items.  You will find designer dress fabrics you thought you could only find in designer clothing outlets at a fraction of the price!  We also have one of the biggest ranges of quilting fabrics in Melbourne starting $7.99 metre, with most stock at just $10.99 metre.  If you need something for your child’s next dance costume you will love our range of lycra, beads and trimmings.  Or if it’s knitting wool, fabric glue, paint, embroidery thread, buttons or ribbons you will find your requirements at Carmel's.

If it bargain you are looking for the don't go past Carmel's Fabric Clearance Warehouse.  Located at 6 Mason Drive Braeside (12 minutes drive from our Mentone outlets) where you can find all types of discounted fabrics including knits, woven, wools, quilting & craft, dress and lycra plus a huge range of trims, accessories and haberdashery.  Fabrics prices start from 89 cents a metre and nothing in the warehouse is over $5.99 a metre.  Bargain Hunters Heaven !!!  You won't find quality fabric at this price anywhere else. 

With the ongoing expansion of our retail business Carmel's has now opened a Wholesale Division operating from our Braeside warehouse. Eligible wholesale customers must have an ABN and operate a business as an on-seller.  Strict conditions apply.  Selected retail fabric related stock available for wholesale. Minimum order quantities apply and we can send your fabrics to any location around Australia.

We have a new Student Section to keep you updated of what Carmel's has to offer Secondary and Tertiary students that have a passion for textiles and design. There are also links to various Fashion Awards and Design Competitions that may be of interest.  School tours are more than welcome.
